Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. What Athlete Runtime is

Athlete Runtime (“the Service”) is a software platform operated by AthleteRunTime (“we”, “us”) that lets gyms and training facilities (“Gyms”) run training sessions, record athlete performance, manage class schedules and sign-ups, and bill memberships and purchases. These terms govern all use of the Service.

2. Accounts and roles

Gyms subscribe to the Service and control who can access their data. Within a Gym, accounts carry roles — owner, coach, intern, athlete, or parent/guardian — and each role sees only what the Gym’s settings allow. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Accounts for minors are managed through a parent or guardian account linked by the Gym.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is sold to Gyms as a monthly subscription that renews automatically until canceled. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers. A Gym may also use the Service to collect its own membership dues, class credits, and point-of-sale charges from its members — those payments go to the Gym, on the Gym’s own terms. Cancellation and refund handling is described in our Refunds & Cancellation policy.

4. The Gym’s data stays the Gym’s

Training records, rosters, notes, and billing history entered into the Service belong to the Gym that entered them. We host and process that data to provide the Service, keep each Gym’s data isolated from every other Gym’s, and will export a Gym’s data on request. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to break the law, to access another Gym’s data, to probe or disrupt the Service’s security, or to resell the Service without our written agreement. We may suspend accounts that put other customers’ data or the Service at risk.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and fast, including an offline mode that keeps a session running through a lost connection, but the Service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support is available at support@athleteruntime.com.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the subscription fees the Gym paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injuries arising from training activities — programming and coaching decisions are made by the Gym and its coaches, not by the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced to Gym owners by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. Questions go to support@athleteruntime.com or AthleteRunTime, 251 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale, NJ 07401, United States.
